Nucleoside diphosphate kinase: a novel intermolecular phosphotransfer event

In this paper, Haider Hussain Dar and Pradip Chakraborti establish that Ser¹¹⁹ in nucleoside diphosphate kinase is phosphorylated via intermolecular transfer of phosphate from phospho-His¹¹⁷, a crucial step in the catalytic mechanism of this enzyme.
